On the morning of July 17, our company’s Party committee convened a General Meeting of Party Members and Stage Summary Meeting of the Fight Against COVID-19. Wang Liping, a deputy to the National People's Congress, secretary of our company’s Party committee and chairman of the board of directors, attended the meeting. In the meeting, new appointments and removals, plans and arrangements for the Party committee’s work in the next step were announced. The work of newcomers to the Party committee was commended and higher requirements were put forward.

　　Wang Liping said: “since the outbreak of COVID-19, especially during the critical period of epidemic prevention and control and ensuring production and operation, the entire company made COVID-19 prevention and control the top priority and made concerted efforts to fight COVID-19. Party members and cadres volunteered, set examples with their own conducts and played the role of bastions. After the stage victory in epidemic prevention and control, we should remember general secretary Xi Jinping’s requirement to remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind. Guided by Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we need to enhance our political consciousness, overall consciousness, core consciousness, unity consciousness, uphold our confidence in the socialist path, theory, system and culture, safeguard the leadership of Xi Jinping and centralized authority of the Party Central Committee, striving to write a new chapter of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and present outstanding achievements for the 100th anniversary of the Founding of the Party.”
