The first session of the 13th National People’s Congress will be inaugurated on March 5 in Beijing. On February 28, Wang Liping, President and Deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress, went to Shuihan Village, Guanmiao Town for investigation, so as to learn about the situation there and for better performance.

　　It is indicated in the reports of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China the issues about agriculture, rural areas and peasants are fundamental for national economy and people’s livelihood and thus should always be the priority among all priorities for CPC. As the Deputy to the National People’s Congress, Wang Liping attached most concerns to prosperity in rural areas. In Shuihan Village, Guanmiao Town, he went to the home of villagers and had long talks with them to seek for their opinions and suggestions. He listened carefully and then said he would study out and prepare for applicable proposals with strong operability from practical situations of Suyu District and show his voice on the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference to offer advice and suggestions for our local development.
