A variety of folk activities carryed out to inherit culture and foster warmth -Boqian Company organized 2025 Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Carnival

The Dragon Boat Festival was coming with the aroma of zongzi. It's a perfect time to celebrate this traditional Chinese festival. To promote traditional Chinese culture and enhance employee cohesion and sense of belonging, the company recently held a variety of Dragon Boat Festival folk activities, allowing employees to experience the charm of traditional culture through fun experiences and celebrate the festival together.

Ningbo Base: bustling Cultural Carnival and interesting folklore ignite the enthusiasm for Dragon Boat Festival

The Ningbo base's 2025"Dragon Boat Festival with Zongzi and Folklore" Cultural Carnival kicked off with great enthusiasm. Many interesting activities attracted the active participation of employees with warm atmosphere and constant laughter.

On the morning of May 29th, the Dragon Boat ring-tossing activity was held in the company’s cafeteria. Employees stood in designated areas, aiming their rings at the “zongzi” and throwing with full concentration. Each person had 10 chances, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the game. Those who landed on the "zongzi" can received prizes (fruits such as watermelon, honeydew melon, mango, and banana).

In the afternoon, a passionate dry land dragon boat race took place on the factory's main thoroughfare. Employees from different departments formed teams to compete for team honor. As the race began, the competitors chanted their slogans and rowed their boats in unison, forging ahead. Ultimately, the champion, runner-up, and third-place teams emerged victorious based on their finishing times. While experiencing the joy of teamwork, they also gained a profound sense of accomplishment.

On the afternoon of May 30th, a folk experience activity was held in the company’s cafeteria. There are two activities: Making Zongzi or health hammer. Professional staffs provided on-site instruction, explaining in details about the techniques for wrapping zongzi. They provide a variety of fillings, including glutinous rice, zongzi leaves, and salted egg yolks. Employees eagerly experimented, and although the technique was a bit awkward at first, they gradually mastered it with guidance, creating zongzi of various shapes and forms, which they could take home and share with their families. The health hammer activity was equally bustling, as employees meticulously sewed hammer using herbs like mugwort and mint, which was not only a hands-on experience, but also a token of care and warmth for their elders.

Suqian Base: Handcrafting activities inherit culture, and warm interactions unite the team

On May 29th, the Suqian base’s Dragon Boat Festival theme activities was warmly held in the cafeteria. Employee representatives from different departments participated and spent time together with full of creativity and warmth.

The staffs firstly explained and demonstrated Dragon Boat Festival customs and culture, introducing mosquito-repellent blessing symbolism and the production processof sachets and mugwort, which can gain a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage. Afterward, participants can choose one or two activities: making mosquito-repellent sachets, tying mugwort bouquets, or weaving wool bracelets. Under the guidances, Some meticulously selected fabrics and medicinal herbs to sew unique mosquito-repellent sachets,others meticulously tied mugwort bouquets with refreshing aroma, and still others focused on weaving wool bracelets with colorful yarn.

During works display and exchange session, everyone showcased their handmade achievements, appreciated each other, exchanged experiences, and shared the joy and insights during the process. The warm and harmonious atmosphere not only strengthened the relationship between employees but also promoted cross-departmental collaboration and communication.

This Dragon Boat Festival folk activities not only allowed employees to relax after busy work, but also inherited and promoted traditional Chinese festival culture through diverse forms, enhancing employee cohesion and belonging. In the future, the company will continue to uphold the principles of cultural heritage and humanistic care, organizing more meaningful activities to create a warm and harmonious working environment for employees and work together to build a better future.
